Link Building lasts forever

Link building lasts forever.

That is why entrepreneurs prefer SEO-optimized content.

What is link building?

Link building is one of how your website or blog can be made available to the general public.

In practical terms, a link-building success is recorded when I get a sale from the advert of a building company I put up in 2013.

When you write engaging content that adds value and is evergreen, a client can see what was posted in January 2013, and you get a sale from it in May 2019.

This is a successful strategy using the art of link building.

An example of successful link building is guest posting or placing sponsored posts on websites.

It makes sense when the websites are not constantly changing their URLs. Digital footprints should be able to be found at any time and are mostly found even years after you posted them.

The internet never forgets. - Anonymous

When posting helpful information, the above truthful statement works for you. When you post 'fake news,' it could be your enemy, so be careful what you post.

Link building can open your business website or blog to new markets.

One of the tools by which you can spread your link is via social media platforms.

The popular ones are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Instagram.

You can spread your links far and wide by using networking or social bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon, Digg, and Diigo.

Some of my favorite people to follow in 2014 were the following people.

Things changed quickly.

I don't regret the connections I made in that season, though, as they are a part of who I am and who I am becoming.

In 2014, my day was made only after I had read content from these three people.

They are amazing.

These were my favorite social media personalities in 2014.

One of my favorite authors online.

Activist and lecturer in a German University with over 100 000 followers on Twitter.

Toyin Fab: She's fantastic; you have to read the novella on her blog; she's a banker by day and a writer by night.

Others include:

The blogger who won that wedding competition years ago.

She also has a fantastic blog about Nigerian food.

I am a foodie!

The Amazing Tolu Ogunlesi:

Brilliant Tolu Ogunlesi, a well-known journalist and blogger.

(For the Nigerian audience, even in the diaspora)

Some of the tips you can use to become famous on social media are:

Just do a guest post or a blog meme, and wham, you become a famous blogger or at least one that is known, depending on the success of your blog meme.

Ha ha. Not really!

The following tips help.

Simply pick a topic that resonates with everyone, and soon, people will be beating on your door to do business with you.

Success getting popular.

It must work, though, but keep working.

You will get there.

Sometimes you get a viral post, and sometimes you don't, but the process is always fun.

Let me know how the link-building is going for you.

Sell, sell & sell.

Sell, sell, & sell!

One of the ways to make sales online is to show your audience that you are human.

'No one wants to know how much you know until they know how much you care'.

A wise man said something that's sounds like this almost 50 years ago. It is still true today.

Your potential consumers want you to care about them and about meeting their needs.

They want to know that you are interested in adding value to them and leaving them better than you met them.

One of the first things you should be doing to get their attention is not ads, ads & ads.

You should be doing is catching the attention of the audience.

This creates engagement.

Any time you are funny, smart and you show the value you have to add, you catch someone's attention.

Do more of that always.
Remember do not be preoccupied on selling, selling & selling.

Give your customers and potential clients a chance to get to know you better and a chance to see the value that you can add. Give your social media channels commitment and attention.

Always respond to comments.

On any media platform (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin & Google+) here's what you should do:

-be creative

-always think outside the box on ways that you can be friendly

-be approachable and helpful

-This will help others follow you willingly and possibly become your brand ambassadors

-add value.

The more people communicate with you, the faster they trust you and the faster you grow.

It is pretty simple if you always execute.

When it comes to marketing your product on whatever media (even though in this context we are talking about Digital Marketing) you use.

They are:

*Try
*Learn
*Improve
*Repeat.

Try something new everyday
Learn something new everyday
Improve on what you do daily
Repeat successful strategies over and over again.

This is the secret to success.

You must be willing to try daily on Twitter and Facebook. You must tap into the creativity of God inside you to create something beautiful. Be addicted to improving yourself, your business and everything about you daily.

How do you make your creativity better?

A simple tip is to think of adding value to your clients or customers. Let that guide you and you will do well.

Use your imagination!

I am starting all over again.
Redefining myself, what I do and what I live for.
Something tells me I am going to be doing this over and over again until I get it right.
